How to place an order

Decide what you want. Note down which style of hilt and what options, or which helm
Email us at Krieger@Kriegwerkz.com and tell us what you want
We'll confirm the order and reply by email with your final price.
Pay via Paypal to Sales@kriegwerkz.com or let us know if you'd prefer to send a postal money order.
Drool and pace until your box arrives, or meet us at an event and save the shipping costs for beer

Payments

Full payment must be made before delivery
In-Stock items need no deposit, simply pay and we will ship immediately
Custom orders must be paid 50% at order and the balance before delivery
Some "stock" products on backorder may be reserved for 50% deposit, so if we say I'll have 10 sallets or longswords in stock in a month, and you want to reserve one, then you'll need to place a deposit

Long Sword

Product Warranty Details

MKA takes pride in everything we make.
Since all of our products are hand crafted, some variation and minor imperfections may exist.
Since all of our products are intended to be used in the WMA/SCA competitive combat setting, we expect them to wear out eventually. While we engineer our blades for a long and violent life, the only sword that lives forever is the one grease packed into a time capsule.
Take care of your weapons and helms, and they will serve you a long time.
If one of our products fails due to MKA's workmanship, we will work with you to replace or repair it.
We want all of our customers to be happy... after all, you've got swords.

Rapier/Dagger/Longsword Blades
Any MKA blade will be replaced if tang/thread weld breaks under normal use

Any MKA blade will be replaced if it shows signs of defective heat treating under normal use

Blades will not be replaced if they are abused. Your blade should have a long life if you use it properly and take care of it.

Normal Use Includes:
SCA or WMA light contact fencing, training, or "bouting"

Light contact drills and pell work

Normal blade maintenance: abrasive rust removal, oil or wax coatings

Any non-normal use or alteration of a blade after it leaves MKA's hands will void this warranty, including but not limited to
Welding or otherwise heating any part of the blade over 200F

Sharpening the blade

Using the blade for any purpose other than that for which it was designed [e. i. chopping down trees, slicing machine gun barrels, etc.]

Allowing the blade to deteriorate from rust or corrosion

Weapon Hilts and Parts

MKA hilts are warranted for normal use and will be replaced or repaired at MKA's discretion if they fail

Normal Use Includes:
SCA or WMA light contact fencing, training, or "bouting"

Light contact drills and pell work

Normal blade maintenance: abrasive rust removal, oil or wax coatings

Any non-normal use or alteration of a hilt after it leaves MKA's hands will void this warranty, including but not limited to
Welding or otherwise heating any part of the hilt over 200F

Using the hilt for any purpose other than that for which it was designed [e. i. opening canned food]

Allowing the hilt to deteriorate from rust or corrosion

Helms
MKA Helms are products of India and are only modified by MKA

MKA warrants its workmanship on the installed face plate, but not the entire helm.

You are responsible for padding/strapping your own helm.

Return Policy

Unused Products:
Within 1 week of receiving your item, if you find a Helm does not fit, or a weapon or buckler is not to your liking, and you have NOT used it, you may ship it back to us for a refund of your original purchase price, not including shipping.

Used Products:
After 1 week, or if you have used your helm, weapon, or buckler, we cannot accept an item for return.

Referral Program

How it works: You earn a cumulative $10 discount for every paying referral.

Every time a customer buys an MKA product over $50 and mentions YOUR name, you get a virtual coupon for $10 off a future Weapon or Helm purchase.
The $50 minimum means you can't refer someone to buy a $2 blunt tip and get a bonus, but a bare dagger blade qualifies.
If you are a repeat customer, you count as your own referral! You always get $10 off any Weapon or Helm after your initial qualifying purchase.
The virtual coupons are cumulative, but non-transferable. This means that if you send MKA 20 paying customers, you effectively get any one WEapon or Helm free. You cannot pool coupons assigned to several people.
Make sure you tell people to tell us who sent them.
